Design Studio

We have a full design and origination studio where we transfer your ideas into print. The studio is ran by Ian French (Froggy), who met Inky when apprentices at Central Printers of Peterborough 39 years ago, using product leaders apple mac computers running the latest design software to bring your ideas to life.

Our origination equipment includes hi-resolution scanner, ECRM film imagesetter, mono laser proofer and ‘match-proof’ digital colour proofing system and a A2 size poster printing machine.

Our digital press which is also operated by Ian offers economic short run 4 colour print with stock capability of 330gsm. Especially suited for those one off personalised greeting cards, Christmas cards, invitations, birth announcements, christening cards, and posters using your favourite family image or drawings and paintings. Or those small run items that regularly change ie: menus, wine lists, etc.

We have filters installed to read most ‘pc’ documents that may be supplied by customers and Ian is able to advise them as to what format is likely to work best before they bring their files in.
